By submitting a manuscript to the Journal of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria(JMWAN), authors agree to the following license terms:
1. Creative Commons License
The content published in JMWAN is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author(s) and source are properly credited. Commercial use is permitted under this license, as long as proper attribution is made.
2. Author Rights
Authors retain the following rights to their work:
a) Reuse in Presentations, Theses, or Dissertations: Authors may reuse content in presentations, theses, or dissertations, with proper acknowledgment of the original publication in JMWAN.
b) Sharing on Personal or Institutional Platforms: Authors may share the work on personal or institutional platforms (e.g., institutional repositories, websites), ensuring proper citation of the published version in JMWAN.
c) Commercial Use: Authors may engage in commercial use of their work, as long as proper attribution is provided to the original publication in JMWAN.
3. Publisher Rights
By submitting the manuscript, authors grant JMWAN and its licensees the following exclusive rights:
a) The exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and archive the work in all media and formats, both existing and future.
b) The right to create derivative works, translations, summaries, and adaptations of the manuscript.
c) The right to include the manuscript in collections, compilations, and databases.
d) These rights are granted to the publisher to ensure the broad dissemination and accessibility of the work.
4. Attribution
Proper attribution to the authors, the title of the manuscript, and JMWAN as the original source must be provided in all forms of reuse, ensuring that the original publication is credited appropriately.
5. Ethical Compliance
Authors confirm that their manuscript complies with international ethical guidelines and that the work has not been previously published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are also required to disclose any conflicts of interest or financial support related to the research.
